Machine Operator
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: £15.25 per hour
Shift Pattern: Friday – Sunday | 6:00am – 6:00pm
Hours Paid: 36 hours per week
Contract: 12 Week Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekend work with long-term career prospects.

Shift Pattern

Friday, Saturday & Sunday
06:00am – 06:00pm

Paid for 36 hours per week at £15.25 per hour.

Contract

• 12-week temp-to-perm position
• Pay increase after successful completion of 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery including punch presses, bending tools, and manual equipment
• Cutting materials to size using saws
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Completing measurements and basic calculations accurately
• Packing and preparing finished products for dispatch
• Supporting general warehouse and labouring duties
• Manual handling and heavy lifting where required

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and strong practical skills
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
