Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting a Machine Operator for a well-established organisation in Biggleswade. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for a reliable and hardworking individual seeking long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely lift, move, and store goods
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Operate machinery including a Herbert Capstan Lathe, band saw, and other laboratory equipment
• Produce laboratory test pieces from technical drawings
• Operate forklift trucks

What We’re Looking For

• A positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic
• Forklift experience preferred (Reach or Counterbalance desirable – training provided)
• A strong commitment to safety and following procedures

Benefits

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00, Friday: 07:00 – 15:30 (37 hours per week)
