Job Responsibilities
- Operate large-scale industrial machinery in accordance with defined instructions and operating procedures.
- Follow production schedules efficiently within a small team or crew environment.
- Manufacture adhesive-coated tapes for various high-demand applications.
- Set up machines, load raw materials, and manually operate equipment to produce quality products.
- Unload finished products from machinery, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Work from written or verbal instructions, applying judgement and selectivity as needed.
- Maintain control over product quality, identifying issues and escalating problems when necessary.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment at all times.
- Utilise basic data entry and computer skills for operational documentation.
- Operate forklift trucks (FLT) safely and efficiently, holding a valid FLT licence.
- Contribute to a fast-paced, quality-focused manufacturing environment by maintaining reliability and attention to detail.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing setting.
- Valid forklift truck (FLT) licence.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work within established procedures.
- Strong time management and reliability with excellent attendance record.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, quality-driven environments.
- Commitment to working safely and promoting safety standards.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating 8-hour or 12 hour shift pattern, including days and evenings, Monday to Friday.
