Machine Operators / Machine Minders 

Proman are currently recruiting experienced Machine Operators/Minders on behalf of our client who is a leading manufacturer of hygiene, baby and beauty products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, growing business offering long term work and competitive pay.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and mind production machinery safely and efficiently

  • Carry out hourly quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

  • Restart production lines following faults or stoppages

  • Support the Line Leader with product changeovers

  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment at all times

Shift Pattern & Pay

This role operates on a 3 week rotating shift pattern:

  • Week 1: Mon–Wed, 7am–7pm (Days)

  • Week 2: Mon–Thu, 7pm–7am (Nights)

  • Week 3: Thu–Fri, 7pm–7am (Nights)

You must be able to work all shifts listed above.

Pay Rates:

  • Days: £13.45 per hour

  • Nights: £16.45 per hour

  • Overtime: Paid after completing 36.5 hours per week

 What We’re Looking For

  • Previous machine operating or production experience (preferred but not essential)

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

  • Reliability, good communication skills and a positive attitude
