Maintenance and Projects Engineer (Leeds Based LS9)

Regular Days £50K-£55K

The Company:

A specialist manufacturer and market leader This business is investing heavily in new machinery and automation to improve product quality and the speed of production.  It is a fantastic time for a maintenance and projects engineer to join this technology focused business who will invest in your technical development.

The Role:

The maintenance and projects engineer can expect a varied and challenging role that will involve the following:

Conduct planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across an automated manufacturing plant. This includes electrical and mechanical fault finding on complex systems.

Support the site controls engineer in projects to modify and upgrade systems including:

• PLC’s (mainly Siemens)
• Drives
• Robots (ABB)
• HMI’s

Required Experience:

The Maintenance and Projects Engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 as a minimum in Electrical or Mechanical engineering

You must have experience maintaining an automated manufacturing plant

You don’t need to be the finished article but experience in some of the following is highly beneficial:

• PLC programming or modifications
• Robot programming
• Machine upgrades
