An NHS organisation in Somerset is looking to appoint an experienced Estates Officer (Mechanical) to join its Estates & Facilities team in a key leadership role supporting critical healthcare infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically qualified estates professional with experience managing complex building services in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing maintenance, installation, and compliance of mechanical systems
• Overseeing HVAC, steam boilers, water treatment, and associated plant
• Acting as Authorised Person for critical mechanical services
• Supporting capital projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Ensuring compliance with HTMs and statutory regulations
• Leading on safety, governance, and technical assurance

Requirements:

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Strong experience within estates/building services maintenance
• Knowledge of CAFM and BMS systems
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Healthcare/NHS experience advantageous
