You’ll be carrying out a mix of maintenance, repairs, and servicing of specialist equipment used to support individuals in their homes and community settings.
What the Maintenance Operative Will be doing
- General maintenance and repair work across equipment and facilities
- Servicing and maintaining mobility and disability aids (training provided)
- Fault finding and carrying out repairs
- Making sure all work is completed safely and to standard
- Logging jobs and reporting any issues
- Assisting with installations, removals, and refurb work
- Providing a reliable, no-nonsense service
What We’re Looking For as a Maintenance Operative
- Experience in handyman / maintenance / facilities roles
- Practical skillset (mechanical, basic electrical or plumbing knowledge ideal)
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Good attitude — someone who just gets on with it
- Someone willing to take a Enhanced DBS check
