Maintenance Technician

Candidates with plumbing experience are particularly encouraged to apply, however, those with general maintenance experience will also be considered, including at a junior level.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose faults and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime
- Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks
- Work closely with production teams to respond to urgent maintenance needs
- Keep accurate maintenance records and job logs
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
- Manage spare parts and liaise with external contractors when required
- Background in maintenance, mechanical engineering or plumbing (industrial experience desirable)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Level 2 or 3) advantageous
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on tasks
- Willingness to work occasional overtime
- Must be based locally and able to respond to out-of-hours breakdowns
- Competitive salary based on experience
