About the Role

Working closely with the Premises & Compliance Manager, you'll help ensure our sites remain safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. From planned maintenance and repairs to health and safety compliance and site improvements, you'll play a key role in maintaining high-quality facilities for staff and students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites
  • Performing building repairs, refurbishments, and grounds maintenance
  • Supporting health and safety compliance, including fire alarm testing and legionella management
  • Recording maintenance and compliance activities using our CAFM system
  • Assisting with site development projects and facility improvements
  • Helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is practical, reliable, and takes ownership of their work.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in general building maintenance, facilities, or site management
  • Skills in electrics, plumbing, construction, or a related trade
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
  • Experience carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using digital systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • The ability to communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels
