Management Accountant

We’re recruiting for a commercially focused Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a growing business in South Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants exposure to senior stakeholders, real commercial involvement and the chance to develop quickly within a fast-paced environment.
The role:
You’ll support the Financial Controller across management accounts, month-end reporting, business partnering and commercial analysis, playing a key role in helping drive business performance.
Key duties:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Variance analysis and performance reporting
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting deadlines
- Business partnering with internal departments
- Supporting audits, VAT and stock reporting
- Identifying process and system improvements
- Assisting with ad hoc finance projects
Experience:
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT Qualified and looking to do further studies
- Experience within management accounts
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
- Detail-focused with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ambitious, inquisitive and keen to progress
