Management Accountant

RECfinancial are supporting a returning client in their search for an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a 3–4 month temporary assignment, providing essential support during a busy period.

Due to the company's location this role is commutable from across Leicestershire including Wigston, Thurmaston, Coalville, Loughborough, Enderby, Lutterworth and Hinckley.

As a Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in strengthening the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and supporting the senior leadership team with timely financial insight. This is a hands on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management Accounts production including P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
• Budgeting & Forecasting support
• Month end duties including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Cashflow reporting and analysis
• Supporting the Finance Director with ad‑hoc projects
• Providing clear, accurate financial insight to non‑finance stakeholders

About You:

• Qualified or Part‑Qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or QBE with strong experience
• Proven background in management accounting within a fast‑paced environment
• Confident with Excel and modern finance systems
• Able to work independently and deliver to tight deadlines
• Immediately available or available at short notice
