An established and expanding international organisation, with operations across the UK, Europe, and the MENA region, is seeking a Management Accountant to join its Head Office in Chertsey.

Along with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, you will also receive an annual bonus, hybrid working (3 days in the office & 2 days from home), plus other benefits! 

Key responsibilities as Management Accountant:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting for the UK entities. 

Key duties will include:
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with local GAAP
  • Cash reporting, banking, and processing of payments
  • Full ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolution of variances
  • Reconciliation of stock, consignment stock, and GRNI at month-end
  • Accurate calculation and recording of accruals and prepayments
  • Management of intercompany recharges and service charge allocations
  • Liaison with external tax advisors and support for the preparation of tax returns
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal group policies
  • Supporting external audit processes, including provision of audit documentation
  • Providing financial insights and performance updates to key business stakeholders
  • Supporting ad hoc financial projects and operational initiatives as required
What we’re looking for in a Management Accountant:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA,CIMA or ACCA)
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills, including use of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across departments and regions
  • A professional attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges
