Manual Grinder

Mazco Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Manual Grinder on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company based in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience operating Jones & Shipman grinders, including cylindrical grinding and/or surface grinding, to join a growing and reputable manufacturer.

The Role

• Operating manual Jones & Shipman grinding machines
• Cylindrical and surface grinding of precision components
• Working to tight tolerances and engineering drawings
• Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Manual Grinder
• Strong background in cylindrical grinding and/or surface grinding
• Experience using Jones & Shipman machinery
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Self-motivated and reliable
