Location and setup
Hybrid working in Hertfordshire, with regular on-site attendance required due to the nature of the work.
What you will be doing
- Support test engineering activities throughout development and production readiness phases
- Diagnose faults within electronic sub-assemblies and circuit cards, supporting resolution through testing and analysis
- Assist with the introduction and configuration control of test equipment and facilities
- Produce and maintain test specifications, operator instructions and technical documentation
- Work closely with manufacturing, operations and engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support the development of new production test solutions
- Relevant qualification in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and measurement techniques
- Familiarity with fault diagnosis techniques for electronic or electro-mechanical systems
- Experience using manufacturing or enterprise systems such as SAP, MES or similar platforms
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to obtain and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance
- Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment
- Understanding of electronic measurement, fault finding and test principles
- Experience working with manual or automated test equipment
Circa £44,000 depending on experience.
