Job Description
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and support 100% stock accuracy targets.
- Escalate low and zero stock levels where identified.
- Process inbound deliveries in line with company procedures.
- Load distribution vehicles safely and report any damage or discrepancies.
- Receipt inbound stock accurately using company systems.
- Move materials between drop zones, storage locations and production areas.
- Operate forklift trucks and other equipment safely to move stock.
- Issue parts to production while maintaining FIFO principles.
- Complete picking activities with a high level of care and accuracy.
- Put away stock and update inventory systems correctly.
- Process returned stock from manufacturing, including identification, labelling and storage.
- Conduct stock checks and cycle counts to validate inventory records.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout warehouse areas.
- Promote and maintain Health & Safety standards, reporting concerns immediately.
- Keep stock locations organised and accessible.
- Ensure all gangways remain clear and safe at all times.
- Carry out daily forklift checks and report defects as required.
- Contribute improvement ideas and support other stores functions when needed.

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- FLT Counterbalance and Reach Truck Licence.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling activities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Numerical aptitude with a focus on stock accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Flexible, conscientious and dependable approach to work.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
