Materials Controller / Storekeeper – Engineering Manufacturing
£14.00–£15.00 per hour (DOE)
Full-time | Monday - Friday | Early Finish Fridays (1pm)

The Role

• Hands-on stores and materials control role within a busy engineering environment
• Responsible for goods inwards, stock control, materials issue and despatch
• Working with raw materials, fabricated and machined parts, tooling and finished equipment
• Picking and issuing materials to production teams and preparing kits for jobs
• Carrying out stock checks, maintaining traceability and supporting inventory accuracy
• Operating FLT equipment and supporting loading/unloading activities
• Supporting health & safety, quality and ISO procedures across the stores function

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience within manufacturing stores or materials control
• Forklift licence essential
• Comfortable handling engineered or heavy components
• Able to read basic engineering drawings
• Organised, reliable and computer literate (ERP/Excel/Outlook)
• Engineering or mechanical background advantageous
