The Opportunity We’re looking for a Materials Handler to support a fast-paced logistics and manufacturing operation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored, and issued accurately and efficiently to support production.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, book in, and process goods within 4 hours using Sage 200
- Pick and issue components against work orders and production requirements
- Maintain accurate stock control using FIFO principles
- Ensure correct storage, traceability, and batch/serial control
- Carry out cycle counts and stock checks
- Support internal logistics, including moving goods between sites
- Maintain high standards of health & safety (including COSHH)
- Experience in stores, logistics, or materials handling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage 200 desirable)
- Understanding of stock control (FIFO, batch/serial tracking)
- Proactive and reliable team player
