This role is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs, and there is flexibility around the start date. The position is expected to run on a long‑term basis, with the potential to continue beyond the end of the academic year.

Role Overview
As a Secondary Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, and engaging Mathematics curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities, promoting confidence, resilience, and problem‑solving skills.
Depending on the placement, opportunities may include:
- Long‑term cover
- Temp‑to‑perm roles
- Supply or block placements, including Guaranteed Pay Scheme options
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach in line with the national curriculum, ensuring strong progress and attainment
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress where required
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community
- Uphold professional standards, safeguarding expectations, and school ethos
Requirements
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent secondary teaching qualification)
- Have experience teaching Mathematics in a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
- Exhibit strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be professional, reliable, and adaptable
- Show a genuine passion for Mathematics and student achievement
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Have the right to work in the UK
Pay & Benefits
- £170–£235 per day, dependent on experience and pay scale
- Long‑term, stable placements
- Full‑time roles with potential part‑time flexibility
