Academics are working closely with an outstanding secondary school in Swindon looking to expand their mathematics department and take on a new Mathematics Teacher this September.

You'll be joining a collaborative and forward-thinking department, where high standards, strong teamwork, and student success are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 students of differing abilities
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment where students feel confident to learn.
  • Assess progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in meeting their academic targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching across the department.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • DBS check
  • Knowledge of the Secondary Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A positive, supportive, and student-centred teaching style.
