CCS are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEN school supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about making Maths accessible, engaging, and meaningful for learners who require a structured and supportive approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of students with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs
  • Create a structured, calm, and supportive classroom environment
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies to support engagement and progress
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with EHCP targets and individual learning plans
  • Work closely with support staff, SENCO, and wider school teams to deliver tailored provision
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, planning meetings, and wider school processes
  • Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion at all times

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
  • Experience working within SEN, autism, or complex needs settings (desirable)
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
  • Patient, adaptable, and committed to inclusive education

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm
