Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Northampton that is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher from September 2026. The school would ideally appoint on a permanent basis; however, applications from candidates interested in fixed-term or long-term supply roles will also be considered.

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Opportunity to teach A-Level Mathematics, depending on experience

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities

• Monitor, assess, and support student progress through clear and effective feedback

• Work collaboratively within a dedicated and supportive Maths department

• Contribute to wider school activities including interventions, revision sessions, and enrichment opportunities

• Holds QTS/QTLS (or equivalent) with a specialism in Mathematics

• Confident delivering the Maths curriculum, including GCSE content

• Passionate about making Mathematics accessible, engaging, and meaningful

• Committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential

• A positive, reliable team player who contributes to school life

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are very welcome to apply, with strong mentoring and induction support available.
