Maths Teacher with SEMH experience

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher with SEMH experience to join our educational team. Duties

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive mathematics lessons tailored to the curriculum and student needs.
• Assess student progress through regular testing and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Utilise diverse teaching methods, including tutoring and laboratory activities, to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Support students with special educational needs by adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
• Engage in professional development activities related to maths education, biochemistry, or scientific research.
• Proofread and review educational materials for accuracy and clarity before use in lessons.
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits, including tutoring sessions outside regular class hours when necessary.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of mathematics (Math) with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Experience or familiarity with biochemistry or laboratory work is advantageous for integrating scientific research into lessons.
