The Role: You’ll be responsible for the technical design and coordination of mechanical building services systems; including heating, cooling, ventilation, and domestic water; using software such as Cymap and IES.
Key Mechanical Design Engineer responsibilities include:
- Mechanical services design and calculations.
- Producing technical reports and design documents.
- Participating in design team meetings and internal reviews.
- Managing your own workload and contributing to project delivery.
- Supporting or leading on technical matters depending on experience level.
- Experience in mechanical building services design
- Previous project experience across various sectors (residential, commercial, education, retail)
- Knowledge of Revit or AutoCAD 3D
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
