As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of mechanical building services projects from design coordination through to installation and commissioning.

You will play a key role in ensuring technical accuracy, programme delivery, and quality across projects, with a strong focus on healthcare environments.

• Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

• Assist with technical submittals and ensure timely approvals

• Support the management of RFIs and technical queries

• Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and site teams

• Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with design and standards

• Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking

• Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are delivered to specification

• Contribute to snagging, quality checks, and project close-out

• Ensure materials and equipment are available in line with programme

• Attend site and coordination meetings as required

We are looking for a technically strong and proactive engineer who is looking to develop within a fast-paced project environment.

Essential:

• Experience in a Mechanical Engineer role within building services or construction

• Strong understanding of HVAC, pipework, and mechanical systems

• Experience working on commercial or large-scale construction projects

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Desirable:

• Experience working on healthcare or hospital projects

• Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar)

• Circa £50,000 – £60,000 salary + package
