Talent Guardian are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join an ongoing temporary contract covering multiple high-profile sites across the South Bank area, including museums, transport hubs (bus & train stations), and commercial offices
 
  • South Bank, London (various sites)
  • £300 per day (£37.50 per hour)
  • Monday to Friday | 7:00pm - 6:00am (8 hours)
 
This is a hands-on night shift role focused on the maintenance and repair of key mechanical building services systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation across all sites.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance and repair on fan coil units (FCUs)
  • Service and maintain air conditioning and air handling systems
  • Work on hot and cold-water systems
  • Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
 
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical/building services engineering
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Relevant qualifications/certifications in Air handling systems, Gas servicing, and Fan coil units
  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites
