Mechanical Estimator - Hybrid

We’re working with a growing and highly respected M&E Contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding Pre-Construction team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway into a Pre-Construction Manager role as the business continues to grow.

The company delivers a range of commercial fit-out, refurbishment and M&E projects across London and the South East, with project values typically ranging from £500k - £3m. They have built an excellent reputation within the market and continue to secure repeat business with leading clients and main contractors.

The Role:

• Preparing detailed mechanical estimates and cost plans
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
• Producing accurate take-offs and pricing submissions
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
• Working closely with the Directors and operational teams during the pre-construction phase
• Attending client meetings and supporting value engineering exercises
• Assisting with handovers to delivery teams once projects are secured

What They’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the M&E / Building Services sector
• Strong commercial awareness and technical understanding
• Experience pricing commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects would be advantageous
• Confident communicator with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams
• Ambitious individual looking to progress into a broader Pre-Construction Management role

Package:

• £75,000 - £80,000 basic salary
• 5% annual bonus
• Travel expenses covered
• Hybrid working available
