Mechanical Fitter

Our client, a prominent player in the marine industry, is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter for a contract position. This role is ideal for individuals with specific skills in hydraulic mechanical systems and small bore pipe fitting. This exciting opportunity is available for a 2-month contract with unlimited hours.

• Installing, assembling, and maintaining hydraulic systems
• Fitting small bore pipes in marine environments
• Conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting mechanical issues
• Ensuring all marine equipment is in optimal working condition
• Collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently
• Complying with health and safety regulations at all times
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Providing input for the continuous improvement of marine operations

• Experience in hydraulic mechanical fitting and small bore pipe fitting
• Strong understanding of marine systems and equipment
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and regulations
• Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work unlimited hours as required
