 Pay Rate: Up to £28 per hour (DOE)
 Job Type: Contract / Temporary / Ongoing

 About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a growing team working across a range of commercial properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on varied projects including maintenance, upgrades, and installations within offices, retail units, and other commercial environments.

 Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair work
• Work on systems such as pumps, pipework, HVAC components, and plant equipment
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Assist with plant room installations and refurbishments
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards on site
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults efficiently
• Work both independently and as part of a wider engineering team

 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter (commercial experience preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
• CSCS Card (preferred or required depending on site)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Own tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
