Location: Near Uxbridge
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–12:00pm (37 hours per week)

Are you an experienced Mechanical Inspector with a background in manufacturing, aerospace or precision engineering?

Syntech Recruitment are supporting a leading engineering manufacturer near Uxbridge that is looking to add a Mechanical Inspector to its quality team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business producing highly engineered products where quality, accuracy and attention to detail are critical.

The Role

• Inspect components and assemblies using a range of inspection techniques
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Verify dimensions, tolerances and surface finishes
• Complete inspection documentation and quality records
• Record non-conformances and inspection findings
• Use SAP to track components and work in progress
• Ensure inspection equipment remains calibrated and maintained
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to maintain quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Inspector, Quality Inspector or Final Inspector
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Strong numeracy and geometry skills
• Manufacturing or engineering background
• Experience using hand tools and gauges
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Desirable Experience

• Aerospace industry experience
• CMM inspection experience
• AS9102 FAIR knowledge
• SAP experience
