Holt Engineering are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Machine Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in the Poole area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating or manufacturing experience looking for a long-term role within a well-established business.

Duties for Mechanical Machine Operative will include:
  • Operating and monitoring mechanical machinery
  • Loading raw materials and components into machines
  • Carrying out quality inspections on finished products
  • Following engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Completing production paperwork accurately
  • Adjusting machine settings where required
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Reporting any faults or issues to supervisors
The ideal candidate foe the Mechanical Machine Operative will have:
  • Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using hand tools would be advantageous
