Salary: £60,000 - £62,000 per annum
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire  area
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (6am–6pm)

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work within a busy, high-output manufacturing environment, maintaining and improving a variety of industrial systems and equipment.

Key duties include:

  • Carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs using a CMMS system
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults across components such as pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and fluid power systems
  • Assisting with installation, upgrades, and relocation of machinery
  • Contributing to reliability improvements and efficiency initiatives
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and operational performance across the plant

Candidate Profile

To be considered, you should have:

  • A recognised Level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline (e.g. NVQ or apprenticeship)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, process, or heavy industrial setting
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills, particularly with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical information
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to maintenance and problem-solving
  • Familiarity with industrial production equipment and automated systems
