Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter or Technician? Are you looking for a new opportunity working on a wide range of equipment with a prestigious company in an impressive setting? Do you have prior experience within Heavy Environments? If so… this role could be for you!
The Role:
- Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes, motors, and crane systems
- Diagnose faults and work with operations teams to prioritise repairs and reduce downtime
- Maintain accurate records including maintenance logs and work orders
- Follow health, safety, and regulatory procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Apply high standards of mechanical maintenance and continuous improvement practices
What we are looking for:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (required)
- Experience maintaining conveyors, large gearboxes, and motors
- Able to work at height, including on cranes
- Background in heavy industrial environments (e.g. steel, quarrying, similar sectors)
- Confident using CMMS systems via tablets or handheld devices
