£55k-£65k (subject to experience) + Car Allowance + Benefits

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Project/Contracts Manager with a strong focus on heating, plumbing, and gas systems to join a leading and well-established client of ours within the M&E industry.

You'll manage multiple projects (typically anything up to around £500k in value, mainly within refurbishment across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors.

The Role

• Manage multiple mechanical projects from start to finish
• Oversee labour, subcontractors, and materials
• Attend client and site meetings
• Ensure quality, compliance, and H&S standards
• Handle project finances, variations, and procurement
• Support site teams with technical guidance

What We're Looking For

• 5 years + in mechanical building services
• Strong experience managing multiple projects
• Knowledge of HVAC, LTHW/CHW, plantrooms & domestic services
• Commercial awareness and leadership skills
• Ideally CSCS (Manager/Black Card) - either current or previously held
• Ideally SMSTS - either current or previously held
• Desirable - HNC / HND / Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Be commutable to Bedford
