Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out (London & Surrounding Areas)
Salary: Up to £75,000 (DOE) + Package

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality commercial office fit-out projects across London and the surrounding areas. This is a technically focused role, ideal for a strong mechanical professional who thrives on taking full ownership of projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing all mechanical aspects of fast-paced commercial fit-out projects, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is 100% mechanically biased, requiring a deep understanding of building services systems and installation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of mechanical services delivery, from design development to commissioning
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Review and coordinate mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, reporting to senior stakeholders
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial office fit-out projects
• Strong technical background in mechanical building services (HVAC, pipework, plant, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (preferred)
