Are you an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to join a leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with a strong portfolio of success and continuing to grow ? This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-value projects across the Education, Healthcare, and High End Commercial sectors 

Our client is a well-established M&E contractor with a turnover of over £75 million, delivering complex and high-quality building services projects across the North East and beyond. Known for their commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, they operate across a wide range of public and private sector projects.

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of all Mechanical works on a variety of projects, managing teams and subcontractors, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical installation projects from pre-construction to handover

  • Coordinate site activity with internal teams and external sub contractors

  • Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality assurance

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety and relevant legislation

  • Report progress and provide updates to Operational Management 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Mechanical Project Management within the M&E sector

  • Strong background in delivering high value projects 

  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

  • Knowledge of current building regulations and compliance standards

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications 

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North East
