Mechanical Project Manager - Oxford / London 
£65,000 + Electric Company Car 

Mechanical Project / Contracts Manager required to take full ownership of mechanical projects from inception through to completion across a diverse portfolio of refurbishment and construction schemes.

This is a delivery-led role managing multiple live projects (typically £1M–£6M) across Oxford, London and the wider South East.

Current workload includes:

  • Laboratory project in Oxford
  • Student accommodation scheme (Oxford)
  • Hospital project (Oxford)
  • £6M hotel refurbishment (East of Oxford / M40 corridor)
  • High-end residential projects in London
  • Additional London-based commercial schemes

Mechanical scope includes full delivery of HVAC and building services installations across live and refurbished environments.

The role will involve running projects end-to-end while overseeing site teams and Project Managers, with responsibility for both operational delivery and commercial control.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full mechanical project / contract delivery from start to finish
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently (£1M–£6M range)
  • Leading site teams and Project Managers
  • Commercial management including variations and applications
  • Subcontractor coordination and programme control
  • Client and site coordination across live projects
  • Ensuring delivery performance across cost, quality and programme

What they’re looking for:

  • Strong Mechanical Project Manager or Contracts Manager background
  • Experience delivering mechanical / HVAC building services projects
  • Commercial awareness (variations, applications, project financials)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Confident leading site and project delivery teams
  • Refurbishment / live environment experience beneficial
