Mechanical Site Manager

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 Package: Company car + benefits

A leading building‑services contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical installation works across a range of commercial, education, healthcare, and residential projects in Oxford. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can confidently manage site delivery from pre‑start through to handover.

• Manage day‑to‑day mechanical installation activities on site

• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, and plant

• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards

• Lead site progress meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams

• Monitor programme, quality, and health & safety performance

• Review RAMS, permits, and ensure safe systems of work

• Support commissioning, testing, and final handover documentation

• Identify and resolve site‑based issues to maintain project momentum

• Strong background in mechanical building‑services installation

• Experience managing projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, or residential

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, First Aid (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence
