We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer to join a well-established building services provider covering a portfolio across Westminster, including libraries, offices, and GP surgeries.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer ready to step into a leadership role, or an experienced supervisor looking for a stable position with strong earning potential and career progression.

The Role:

As a Mechanical Supervisor / Lead Engineer, you will oversee day-to-day engineering operations across multiple sites, ensuring all mechanical systems are maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and supporting a team of engineers
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
• Fault finding and repairs on mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, plant, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations
• Liaising with clients and managing subcontractors
• Assisting with scheduling and allocation of works

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical background (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• Experience in a supervisory or lead role (or ready to step up)
• Knowledge of building services within commercial/public sector environments
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
