We are currently recruiting an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join a well‑established Mental Health service in Hampshire. This is an excellent locum opportunity offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour and the chance to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out mental health assessments under the Mental Health Act (1983)
- Complete Care Act assessments and reviews
- Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental health needs
- Work collaboratively with medical professionals, families, and partner agencies
- Contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes
- Maintain accurate and timely case records
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree / Diploma in Social Work)
- Social Work England registration
- Proven experience within Adult Mental Health services
- Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Care Act
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
