MEP Commissioning Manager – Data Centres - Dublin
€90,000 per annum + Travel Allowance – Permanent Role
Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects.
Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Commissioning Strategy & Planning
Lead the development and implementation of MEP commissioning strategies across multiple Data Centre projects, primarily based in Dublin with coordination across European sites, ensuring alignment with programme milestones and client requirements
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Leadership
Drive commissioning activities through all phases including pre-commissioning, Level 1–5 commissioning, and IST, ensuring consistent delivery standards across both local and international project locations
- Multi-Site Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Engage with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives across various European sites, ensuring seamless communication and integration of all MEP systems within mission-critical environments
- Programme & Risk Management
Monitor commissioning progress across multiple projects, identifying risks to critical path activities and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain programme certainty across geographically diverse sites
- Quality Assurance & Handover Excellence
Ensure all commissioning documentation, QA processes, and handover deliverables are completed to a high standard across all projects, supporting consistent, high-quality client handovers in line with best-in-class delivery expectations
Requirements
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale Mission Critical projects
Must be able to travel freely within the EU when required
