I’m currently working with a leading client within the London Data Centre sector who is looking to engage experienced freelance MEP Engineering professionals to support a number of live and upcoming projects.

This is a strong opportunity to join high-value, mission-critical data centre developments across London, working on a contract basis within a fast-paced and growing market.

🔧 The Role:

You will be supporting the delivery of complex MEP packages across data centre projects, working closely with project teams to ensure successful installation, coordination, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing MEP installation and commissioning activities on site
• Coordinating mechanical and electrical subcontractors
• Supporting project planning, delivery, and technical coordination
• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with health & safety and quality standards
• Assisting through to project completion and handover

💡Requirements:

• Proven experience within MEP delivery on construction projects
• Previous data centre experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience working in a freelance / contract capacity desirable
• Strong communication and coordination skills on live sites
