Met Strip Fitter

Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Strip & Fit / MET Technician to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Chelmsford. This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering top-quality repair work.
Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim (MET) repairs as well as full vehicle strip and refit.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs using the latest tools and technology.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer, insurer, and industry standards.
• Work efficiently to achieve deadlines without compromising on quality.

Follow all health, safety, and compliance guidelines.
Experience 

• Proven experience as a Strip & Fit / MET Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair setting.
• ATA/NVQ Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Full UK driving licence.
