kolt recruitment are looking for a Strip Fitter to join a reputable independent dealership based in Leighton Buzzard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Strip & Fit Technician to work within a busy, well-structured workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Strip and refit vehicle panels, trims, bumpers, interiors, and mechanical components
• Accurately diagnose and document all required replacement parts
• Prepare vehicles for body and paint departments, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards
• Reassemble vehicles after repair, ensuring correct alignment and functionality
• Work efficiently to meet workshop productivity targets
• Maintain accurate job records and follow all workshop procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Strip Fitter / MET Technician within a dealership or bodyshop
• Strong mechanical and body repair knowledge
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, supportive team
• High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset
• Full UK driving licence
