Our client, a reputable and well-established Prestige Authorised Repairer Bodyshop in Stevenage, is seeking an experienced MET Technician to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work on luxury vehicles within a professional environment that prioritises quality over quantity.

Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Conduct mechanical repairs and bodywork on allocated vehicles
  • Carry out dismantling, fault-finding, diagnostics, and reassembly
  • Replace and fit new parts as required
  • Perform inspections and testing to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
  • Identify faults or additional work needed in the interest of safety
  • Conduct road tests of vehicles when necessary, ensuring safety and legality
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Requirements of a MET Technician:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician within a Bodyshop environment
  • Mechanical workshop background considered
  • Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively
  • ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
  • Enthusiasm for working on high-end luxury vehicles
  • Team player with a professional attitude
