- Carry out mechanical and bodywork on allocated jobs as required
- Dismantling, fault-finding and diagnostic work
- Re-assembly using new parts as required
- Complete inspections and testing to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Identify faults and recommend additional work where safety or roadworthiness is affected
- Carry out road testing of vehicles when required, in a safe and legal manner, as instructed
- Maintain clear communication on job progress and any findings requiring authorisation
- Proven experience as a MET Fitter / MET Technician within a bodyshop environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to fault-find and complete inspections and testing to a high standard
- Good communication skills and confidence working across multiple tasks
- ATA advantageous, but not essential
- Commitment to safe working practices and legal road-testing procedures
