MFL Teacher - French & Spanish - Independent School

Are you an enthusiastic MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish, available for a short-term role this summer?

Yorkshire Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded independent school in North Yorkshire (between York and Thirsk) to recruit an MFL Teacher for a June-July 2026 placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-achieving and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Inspire students and promote a passion for language learning
• Differentiate teaching to support all abilities
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom
• Monitor and support student progress

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience teaching French & Spanish at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate learners
