ANZUK Education is working with a Secondary School set in Ashford who are seeking to appoint an exceptional MFL Teacher to join their vibrant and ambitious school to teach French and Spanish at Key Stage 3.

• Pay Range: £168.80 - £232.58 per (equivalent to MPS1–MPS6), dependent on experience
• Contract Type: Fixed Term – 1 yr Maternity Cover

About the role:

The school in Ashford are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a successful department on a one-year maternity cover from September. The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 students, delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of languages and support student progress. This is a full-time role requiring strong classroom management, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to planning, marking and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Required skills & experience:

• Applicants must hold QTS and have experience teaching French & Spanish
• Be available full-time (5 days per week) and commit to a long-term maternity cover role from September.

• Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to Key Stage 3 students.
• Prepare, assess and mark classwork, homework and coursework in line with school policies.
• Monitor, record and report on student progress, attainment and wellbeing.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and departmental success.
