About the Role:
Cover People are currently recruiting for an MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish and French to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Stockport, Greater Manchester, starting from September 2026 for a full term as a minimum.
This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to make a positive impact in a long-term role, delivering engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons across KS3 and KS4. ECTs will benefit from a supportive mentoring programme to help complete induction requirements, while experienced teachers will have the opportunity to contribute to a thriving and collaborative department.
M1–M6 Teachers will be paid to scale from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality Spanish and/or French teaching in line with national curriculum standards
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE French and/or Spanish
• Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Support the academic and personal development of all learners
• Contribute positively to department planning and wider school initiatives
Requirements:
• QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
• Experience teaching KS3 & GCSE Spanish or French
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A passion for teaching and pupil progress
• Right to work in the UK
