Looking for a flexible MFL teaching role in a supportive secondary school environment?
Smile Education is working with a welcoming secondary school seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to cover maternity leave from June to December 2026. The successful candidate will teach French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4 on a part-time basis.
This role would suit an experienced teacher, ECT, or a teacher returning to the classroom looking for a better work-life balance.
🏫 The Role
- Teach French and Spanish across KS3–KS4
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
- Support students’ progress and language development
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider MFL department
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Ability to teach both French and Spanish
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
- Supportive and welcoming school environment
