Salary: £45,000 per annum + Benefits + Commission
Location: Midlands based
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
Business Development Manager – Key responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with customers and distributors to support sales growth and customer retention.
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals and customer site visits
- Manage the sales process and pipeline using CRM systems, prepared customer proposals/quotes and negotiation with clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to share customer feedback and support business objectives.
- Monitor performance, maintain regular customer contact and report opportunities and progress to senior management
Business Development Manager - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of developing new business through cold calling and customer visits
- Ability to plan and build a strong pipeline whilst meeting deadlines
- Effective communicator who can build strong relationships with clients
- Possesses excellent communication skills who stays professional at all times when engaging over the phone or in person
- Full UK driving license
